Terms of Service
Standard terms for the self-hosted nLink platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the nLink integration platform ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.
2. License & Self-Hosting
nLink is distributed as a self-hosted solution. Subject to your compliance with these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and execute the Software on your own infrastructure.
- You may not redistribute, resell, or lease the Software itself.
- You may not attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent the core license validation mechanisms of the Software.
3. User Responsibilities
Because you host nLink entirely on your own servers, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for:
- Infrastructure Security: Maintaining the security and integrity of the servers, databases, and network where nLink is installed.
- Third-Party Compliance: Adhering to the acceptable use policies and API rate limits of any third-party services (e.g., Google, GitHub, Slack, ...) you connect via nLink nodes.
- Data Backups: Implementing proper backup procedures for your workflows and configurations to prevent data loss.
4. Limitation of Liability
nLink provides the workflow execution engine "as is" without warranty of any kind. In no event shall nLink or its creators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:
- Data loss or corruption occurring on your self-hosted servers.
- Business disruption or lost profits due to workflow failures, API deprecations, or misconfigurations.
- Security breaches resulting from compromised credentials or vulnerable server environments managed by you.
5. Intellectual Property
The nLink name, logos, UI designs, and underlying execution engine architecture are the intellectual property of nLink. You may not use our branding, copy our UI assets, or represent yourself as an official partner without explicit written consent.
6. Updates and Modifications
We reserve the right to update these terms as our product evolves. Continued use of the Software after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. Significant changes will be communicated via our official changelogs or community channels.
